The National PTA is one of the largest child advocacy associations today, with more than 6 million members. The PTA publishes valuable resouces to its members covering its key areas of expertise--parent involvement, child safety, student success, education funding, health and wellness, and diversity and inclusion.
The Virginia PTA is the third largest congress in the National PTA, working for ALL children and youth in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Northern VA District PTA
Northern Virginia District PTA's mission is to promote the goals of the PTA in the Northern Virginia area presentting and speaking on the behalf of children in the schools, helping parents to be effective gardians and role models for their children, and encouraging greater parental involvement at the school level.
Fairfax County Council of PTAs missions is to encourage parent and public involvement in the schools within Fairfax County.
